You can do it yourself, but that involves changing
plenty of Resource dictionaries in your code.

Maybe it's easier if you use PdfSmartCopy.
SmartCopy keeps XObjects in memory and compares them
with new XObjects that are added. If they are equal,
only one XObject is added to the final PDF.
