I also recognize another ideal: wanting to make money by offering 
customers something that is hard to find, based on software for which no 
license was purchased whatsoever ;-)

I was tempted to suggest Apache POI to interpret the RTF documents, but 
that would be opening Pandora's box leading to much more questions that 
are off-topic on this list.
