Hiyas

For a special project, there is a requirement that a PDF file that can be
signed (or a certified document where a blank signature is being filled out and
signed) can be "tagged" on
a signature base level. What they want to do is creating their own appearances
(works perfectly) per signature level and later on, when they read the document
in, be able to
identify the signatures in the PDF that have been "tagged". By "tagging", I
simply mean any kind of tag or flag that be written on the signature and read
again just so it is
possible to identify all the signaturesin a field that have this "tag".
Would an own Cryto dictionary (a PdfSignature) do the trick when I
PdfSignature.put(PdfName.something, something) that I can read again? If yes,
what "Something" would I need to
write to make sure it is compatible with the standard so I don't break
anything? Is that actually possible?

Best regards and thanks
Rog
