Passing the encoding "" should be OK.
ZapfDingbats normally has one built-in encoding.
What happens if you use the Font object,
and use it to create a Paragraph with something like
"quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"?
Or if you create a Chunk with the character 108?

If you see those glyphs, we have to look for the
problem in ZapfDingbatsList instead of in the Font.
