You can download the source code of the examples of these chapters here: http://itextpdf.com/examples/ In these examples, new functionality is introduced, so I needed to make a new iText release before the chapters are published: iText 5.0.1. The changelog can be found on this address: http://itextpdf.com/history.php?branch=history.50&node=501 The table of contents of the book has been reorganized: http://itextpdf.com/book/toc.php I have three more chapters and four appendices to write, and then the first draft has to be finished (March/April). The final manuscript (about 600 pages) should be ready in May. I think you can expect iText 5.0.3 in April and iText 5.0.4 in June (shortly after every deadline for Manning). Some of the changes in iText 5.0.1 demands small changes to existing source code: for instance the switch to enumerations for FontFamily values (Font.HELVETICA is now FontFamily.HELVETICA).
