Hi iText support team!

Thanks for previous answers
(http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=4BC890F7.7060109%401t3xt.info&forum_name=itext-questions),

so strange that iText can't do in same way as it is realized in Adobe
Acrobat.

So in xfdf file we he one field value in UTF8 encoding (tried Farsi and
Cyrillic). After pdf form merging with this xfdf file, when we open the
new result pdf file in Acrobat - all chars in that field are not showed,
only ascii if they are presented in the value.
But when I try edit the value in this field (after clicking on that
field) - real value is showed there (the same as it is in xfdf file).

Also when I change font for that field in Acrobat Pro and back to
previous - value is showed...

Screenshots:
1. What is showed after the merge:

2. What is showed on field focus:

We still use a java version of iText.

Do you have idea why it is so and how it can be fixed?

Regards, Andron.
