Now you want to add a named destination. This is NOT part of the page content. Named destinations are stored in a different structure and they are not aware of the content of the page. So what you need to do, is to find the position of the String on the page. This is not impossible, but it can be very difficult. You need to read AND UNDERSTAND chapter 15 of the second edition of iText in Action very well. It's not something that can be explained in a simple mail. Once you have the coordinates of the String, it's very easy to add the named destination.
