I have a strange phenomenom. iText prints a * (star) character over my output. I am absolutely sure that none of my text that I generate even contains a * character.
Most of the time, the * character appears within the first line of text on a page, but not on all pages (see picture 1, * character just above the 'n' in blue title). However sometimes it appears further below (see picture 2, * character in between two paragraphs).
