1) iText is still an open source project. However, if you want to use
it in a commercial context, you need to:
a) use an older/unsupported version
b) pay for it.
c) make your source available to everyone who receives the output of
that source (the PDFs) as required by the AGPL.
2) RTF support was dropped a while back.
