Hi,
I'm using the iText library to version 5.0.4. When verifying the signature in
the sample document that I send the attachment as Sample.pdf, obtained the
result is false. Verification of the Adobe Acrobat Reader version 9.4.0 ends
properly.
When I look at PdfPKCS7.java file, I noticed different way of verification
signature from the document when the signature of a PKCS # 7 contains the
Content set to PKCS # 7 Data. I noticed that there is the hash of the signed
document (messageDigest). That is why I made these changes, which is sending in
the attachment (PdfPKCS7.java after changes and PdfPKCS7.java.diff).
Please check whether the correction and my way of thinking is correct.
