If you found documentation about using the HeaderFooter class, throw it away, don't look at it, forget about it. The HeaderFooter class wasn't mentioned in the first edition of "iText in Action" (2006) because it was already outdated back then. The HeaderFooter class isn't mentioned in the second edtion of "iText in Action" (2010) because it was removed from iText over a year ago. I have no idea why people persist in asking questions about the HeaderFooter class. In the examples of the second edition, a class named HeaderFooter was written as an example in the hope that people would forget about the class with the same name that was once in iText but has been removed a long time ago.
