And that's why the issue is arising - you are not fully understanding static XFA.
In the case of static XFA, the page content (text & images) is in the PDF and the data is in the XFA. You are modifying the wrong thing to change images. -----Original Message----- From: devsgl [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, November 10, 2010 3:09 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [iText-questions] Replacing image in XFA PDF with iTextSharp Leonard Rosenthol-3 wrote: > Is it a static XFA or a dynamic XFA that you are working with? In this case it's a static XFA I'm trying to get working with image replacement. I have also some dynamic XFA (PDF + XDP), but I'm not working with them for the moment. I just made a test by modifying original PDF and check "incorporate image data", so source image is already as Base64 in the PDF. There should be no link to the image in the PDF with this option, at least that's why I was thinking after some reading. But even like this it's not working. Get the old image in Adobe Reader and in LiveCycle I have the new image. Really strange. -- View this message in context: http://itext-general.2136553.n4.nabble.com/Replacing-image-in-XFA-PDF-with-iTextSharp-tp3034631p3035636.html Sent from the iText - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Next 800 Companies to Lead America's Growth: New Video Whitepaper David G.
