The Java file isn't attached, but... if you want the watermark to be 
invisible,
then why are you using transparency? Isn't setting the rendering mode to
invisible sufficient? And why are you adding the watermark on top of the
existing text instead of under it?

The problem you're experiencing isn't caused by iText: if it displays OK 
on screen,
it should print OK too, but to avoid this problem, you could use 
different workarounds.
