I don't know how you post questions (maybe through a service such as Nabble), but your mails are always put on hold because you're not subscribed. An administrator has then to go through all the mails put on hold (of which more than 90% consist of SPAM) and manually approve your question. This is a boring and time-consuming work. It would be easier to automatically discard all mail from people who aren't subscribed. This would mean you'd never get an answer.
