OK, I understand. The MediaBox has an effect on the coordinate system, and the position of fields is done using coordinates in that system. But there's as much reason to dedicate a section about that relationship as there is to dedicate a section on the relationship between the MediaBox and the position of annotations (fields are represented by a special type of annotations, called widget annotation), between the MediaBox and ColumnText, between the MediaBox and Image.setAbsolutePosition(), and so on... The book talks about the coordinate system, and it is then assumed that the reader knows that coordinates refer to that system ;-) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Lotusphere 2011 Register now for Lotusphere 2011 and learn how to connect the dots, take your collaborative environment to the next level, and enter the era of Social Business. http://p.sf.net/sfu/lotusphere-d2d _______________________________________________ iText-questions mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/itext-questions Many questions posted to this list can (and will) be answered with a reference to the iText book: http://www.itextpdf.com/book/ Please check the keywords list before you ask for examples: http://itextpdf.com/themes/keywords.php
