Hi to all. I've searched for quite a long time about this topic, but something seems to be missing. Scenario: I have a bunch of pdf files to merge, and that's not a problem (I'm following the instructions on "Importing pages" written here http://www.manning.com/lowagie2/samplechapter6.pdf ). Amongst them, there's sometimes a file with no user password but with owner password set. The permissions for this file (as Acrobat Reader tells me) are full only for printing. If I try to merge this one with the others the exception "PdfReader not opened with owner password" is raised.
The question is: is there a way to insert this protected document in another pdf by exploiting my rights to print it? Thanks a lot, Quoro -- View this message in context: http://itext-general.2136553.n4.nabble.com/Merging-pdf-file-with-unknown-owner-password-tp3347728p3347728.html Sent from the iText - General mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Colocation vs. Managed Hosting A question and answer guide to determining the best fit for your organization - today and in the future. http://p.sf.net/sfu/internap-sfd2d _______________________________________________ iText-questions mailing list iText-questions@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/itext-questions iText(R) is a registered trademark of 1T3XT BVBA.
