I have attached a bug to iTextSharp (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail <http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=536236&aid=3219416&group_i d=72954> &atid=536236&aid=3219416&group_id=72954) where you can find a fix to the simpleXMLparser.cs to adhere to the xml:space attribute correctly.
