I'd love to hear more about your problems with Reader X. Do you have
any reproducible crashes? What kind of "strange stuff"??
I think I submitted almost all crash reports when it was asked (if it
asked?), but most of the time I killed it with task manager.
Here on the pc at work (brand new windows7 pro 64bit quad-core 4gb ram
desktop) reader X hung alot, sometimes a PDF opened instantly other
times took up to 2 minutes before reader x opened. (that's my strange stuff)
When scrolling in larger documents (like the pdf spec) X stopped working
for a while, with the X window going black for several seconds (+15s) or
just died.
It was unworkable, so I downgraded to 9 again. I could upgrade just to
test it more, but I'll loose my patience and start saying ugly words to
my screen again. My co-workers already think I'm a bit crazy, they would
call me insane after a week if I do that again :)
In any case, if I notice strange behaviour at home all make a note of it
and keep the PDF that caused it.
Leonard
But we're hijacking a thread here ;)
to keep on track: I can also select the radio buttons in Reader 9.4
