I would check with the JPEDAL folks to find out why it isn't working there.

Subject: Re: [iText-questions] create highlight annotation on existing text

thanks for answer,
I have read so far and I have found a solution for the highlitghing
annotation using MARKUP annotation.
My problem is I visualize the pdf as a renderer as JPedal, and If I create
highlight annotation on text with acrobat the renderer correctly visualizaze
the annotation an relative popup, but It dosn't work with the markup
annotation of the mailing list example.Specifically the markup annotation
dosn't visualize the highlight text and the popup,so I have thinked that the
highlitgh text annotation created by iText was of different type or had
different properties.Isn't it?
How can I retrieve the annotation properties from Itext?thanks for help and
support.
