You add text, and AFTER you've added text, you COVER it with other content.
It surprises me you're surprised you don't see the text.
Furthermore your code is... not optimal.
You have an existing PDF document to which you want to add content.
If you had read the documentation, you'd have know you should use
PdfStamper.
It beats me why you are using Document/PdfWriter.
Please respond to me at your earliest. Thanks allot for your help in
