I have recently started using flyingsaucer to do pdf generation from

OK, then you've posted your question to the wrong mailing list.
Flying Saucer uses iText, but we're not the developers of Flying Saucer.
There must be another mailing list for Flying Saucer somewhere.
I spent time going through the APIs in documentation.
Our API docs, nor the "iText in Action" book, will tell you how to use
Flying Saucer.
Our documentation only explains how to use iText.
I wanted to know if there is some "good" documentation on flyingsaucer
that will help me understand what is possible to do with flyingsaucer.
I would'nt mind spending time with code and API documentation, but is
there forum/document that would help me use the flyingsaucer to the
fullest. I want to get inside the code and harness the power of FS.
I don't know if there's such a place.
However, we've started writing our own HTML to PDF functionality.
You can read more about it here: http://lowagie.com/xmlworker
You can try out the demo here: http://demo.itextsupport.com/xmlworker/
You can find out what is supported here:
http://demo.itextsupport.com/xmlworker/doc.html
This is a work in progress.
The demo has a feedback option and we're using that feedback to improve
the code.
