It's not true imposition as that involves something way more complex
including turning pages at the bottom or creating two sheets for four up so
they can be printed correctly double sided.

I am going to try and make this order optional.

 

Any ideas about the page creep though?? This happens on all pdf's I have
tried to N-up so far

page then goes to the first and on?? Seems counter-intuitive to have
8,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 or 4,1,2,3?


4, 1, 2, 3 makes sense if you fold the paper into a booklet.
It probably doesn't make sense in all cases.
