Hi

I have a really simple question, I think. I am POSTing a string that a user
enters from JavaScript with a single quote in it to a Java servlet, and then
using that string to construct a iText Phrase object. When I add the phrase to
my document, the string ends with the single quote, and no more of the string
is seen

for example--

"Josh's house"

would only be added to the document as

"Josh"

What am I missing about adding strings with single quotes? Should I escape them
using Javascript escape()? If so I would get a string like "Joshes%27s house"
and how should I unescape the string in Java once they are posted (should I use
StringEscapeUtils.unescapeEcmascript()? or some other method?)

thanks in advance
