It's fairly simple to hide content on a page (ending up with blank pages).
Hiding complete pages however, isn't standard (and I doubt it's possible).
Did you check Adobe's Acrobat JavaScript Reference?
There are methods such as insertPages and deletePages, but they don't 
work in Adobe Reader unless the PDF is reader enabled.
