That method draw the appearance of an empty TextField.
It doesn't add a real text field. It doesn't add any text.
If I were you, I wouldn't use that method.
It surprises me you found that method.
Sure, it's in the API docs, but it's not mentioned in any other
documentation anywhere.
If I were you I'd use the methods described in Chapter 3 to achieve what
you need.
Then again, I have the impression that you prefer wasting time on the
mailing list,
rather than saving time by reading the book. That's a shame.
