Im dynamically adding form fields to a PDF that Im generating. I understand
they wont be flattened when the file is initially closed, because they didnt
exist in the AcroFields collection when it was initially opened. Im trying
to flatten them during a second pass, and for some reason when I use a
stamper to set form flattening, all of my newly added fields disappear. If
I dont set form flattening they remain in the file (albeit different color,
and editable like fields are). Even the file size seems to be the same,
implying the text is there *somewhere* but I cant see it (and Ive tried
doing select all, etc)
Any suggestions? I know I can use a table (as suggested by someone here
previously, thanks!) but at this point its kind of the principle of getting
flattening on the second pass to work.
Thanks.
