Ok, now the time stamp does not claim certification properties anymore and
the Adobe Reader displays the signature and the time stamp in the proper
order. Still the Adobe Reader is not happy with the time stamp itself,
claiming that the name of the TSA differs ("Name des TSA weicht ab"). It
actually doesn't seem to be able to match the certificate.
This might be due to the fact that your time stamp token uses an ESSCertIDv2
in a SigningCertificateV2 signed attribute to identify the signing
certificate.
PAdES part 4 explicitly refers to RFC 3161 for the time stamp format
definition, and this RFC only knows the ESSCertID inside a
SigningCertificateAttribute which it requires to exist: "The certificate
identifier (ESSCertID) of the TSA certificate MUST be included as a
signerInfo attribute inside a SigningCertificate attribute."
The option to use an ESSCertIDv2 in a SigningCertificateV2 signed attribute
instead is the subject of RFC 5816. Here the sentence quoted above is
changed to begin with "The certificate identifier (either ESSCertID [ESS] or
ESSCertIDv2 [ESSV2]) of the TSA certificate".
The PAdES specification version 1.1.2 (2009-12) does not allow time stamps
according to RFC 5816, it only refers to RFC 3161.
The same, BTW, is true for signature time stamps contained in the signature
container as unsigned attributes: ISO 32000-1:2008 only refers to RFC 3161
and not to RFC 5816. I don't know about PDF-2, though.
I'm not sure whether this is the reason why the Adobe Reader is unhappy,
there also may be other issues with your time stamp.
Regards, Michael
