This is as defined in the PDF spec.

You need to "unrotate" the shading using a standard transformation.

Subject: [iText-questions] PdfShading.SimpleAxial in a landscape page

Hello,
If I use PageSize.A4.Rotate() as the page size, It rotates
PdfShading.SimpleAxial too.
For example

public void CellLayout(PdfPCell cell, Rectangle position, PdfContentByte[]
canvases)
{
   //...
            var shading = PdfShading.SimpleAxial(
                                    cb.PdfWriter,
                                    position.Left, position.Top, position.Left,
position.Bottom,
                                    BaseColor.YELLOW, BaseColor.ORANGE);
   //...
}

It should be from top to bottom and works fine with PageSize.A4.
If I use PageSize.A4.Rotate(), It will be from left to right, instead of top
to bottom.

How can I fix that?

Thanks for your time.
