My Question pertains to the open source licenses for the java IText jar lib
file.
I have itext_1.5.4.jar
which is a considerably older version of the jar, which exists in the old open
source license model, and doesn't require stipend for a commercial license.
-It has both the pdf and rtf subdirectories.
Does this mean it works, reading and writing rtf files and pdf files?
-How can I know what the highest version pdf file version is that it can read
and update to without creating problems in more recent versions of the Adobe
pdf reader?
-If these questions can't be answered from here, could someone reply with an
email address I can send the 1.11Mb file to for consideration towards these
questions?
