It depends.
Do you want to split your page into two smaller ones in the same way you
would cut a piece of paper in two?
If yes, the examples provided are what you are looking for.
Or do you expect the content to reflow nicely, adjust the layout, updating
page numbering, etc?
If yes, then iText is defintely not the tool you are looking for.
