It seems that there isn't any existing API I can use and I've got to write 
quite tremendous pieces of code, such as parsing TTF files, extracting font 
data, combining them to an XObject Font stream, mapping between glyphs and 
Unicode values, reparsing and rewriting the content streams...


No wonder why "iText Info" replied with "non-trivial things" and then left.
