I've only glanced at your code, so I'm not 100% sure, but I have the 
impression that you're invoking operations that are illegal in text 
state. Clean up your code, making sure that you only perform text state 
operations between beginText() and endText(), and you'll fix at least 
some problems you're introducing into the PDF.
