Hello Naval,

I can recommend using iText and Flyingsaucer to generate PDF from XML/XLS.

Our environment did not work well with Apache/FOP yet, with Flyingsaucer and
iText we've encountered few to zero problems.

Also, we've put Htmlcleaner in between Flyingsaucer and iText to make sure
the XML is proper.

Make sure you have the right version 9.0.1 or higher of Flyingsuacer, this
version uses the right iText. The downloads contain lots of examples.
