Correct: you forgot to define a FontMapper (or to use one of the other strategies explained in chapter 14 of the book). Even if I would be allowed to, I couldn't copy/paste them all: Section 14.5.2 entitled "Drawing text to Graphics2D" counts almost 10 pages. This is not something that can be easily explained in a mail. You'll have to study the documentation.
