Because we just can't maintain the many channels people use to post
questions:
- Why o why are people posting questions on iText's FB page?
https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=10151213118779072&id=55939364071
We only registered that page so that nobody else registers it.
- Why o why do people post questions on LinkedIn?
   http://www.linkedin.com/groups/iText-Community-104884
- Why o why is Bruno the only one answering questions on
http://support.itextpdf.com ?
- Why o why are there still people who think they're subscribed to the
mailing-list when posting questions to nabble:
   http://lowagie.com/nabble
- People underestimate the huge administrative work they cause by not
following the rules:
   http://lowagie.com/itextml
   http://lowagie.com/node/217

The rule is simple, when you have questions, suggestions, patches,...
you have three options:
1. Use the mailing-list, subscription required!
2. Use StackOverflow, Bruno has been active there since August 2012:
http://stackoverflow.com/users/1622493/bruno-lowagie
3. Use the JIRA ticketing system, only available for paying customers.

Introducing yet another channel for posting patches and questions would
cause more administrative work routing all the questions. I hope this
explains why what's obvious from one point of view isn't always obvious
from another point of view ;-)
