Thanks for your reply.

For #2, you are saying XFA worker can execute the javascript while flattening
the form correct? What should I set the execute option of the javascript to?
Run At Server or Run At Client?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

I have a dynamic PDF template created using Adobe Livecycle ES3. We have to use
quite a bit of javascript to dynamically repeat rows in several tables across
the form. Can this java script be executed by iText? Right now the only way I
figured out is to execute javascript at client i.e. when the form is opened by
a pdf viewer.

Let me repeat the question to see if I understand it correctly:

You want to fill a pure XFA form and have the JavaScript executed.

1. when you inject XML into the interactive form, you don't need to execute the
Javascript as it's executed when the form is opened in Adobe Reader.

2. when you flatten the data in the interactive form to a traditional PDF, you
need software to execute the Javascript. This is done by XFA Worker:

Does 2 answer your question?
