Hi, I am using iText and Java to fill a pdf form. The font in the pdf form text field properties is set to "Arial Bold Italic 9". In the code I have embedded the font like this: BaseFont bfArialBoldItalic = BaseFont.createFont("c:\\windows\\fonts\\arialbi.ttf", BaseFont.CP1252, BaseFont.EMBEDDED); PdfContentByte cb = writer.getDirectContent(); // Holds the PDF data cb.setFontAndSize(bfArialBoldItalic, 9); But for some fields the bold and italic are not being rendered. Check the screenshot below. This is just a part of the pdf, it is like this for many text fields.
