Try using canonical paths instead of relative paths.  My guess is that
something in your app is changing the "current path", so the ./xxxxx
notation is winding up with the file not being available.

Also, this looks like you might be using an older version of the library -
at minimum, update to the latest release so the stack traces will be more
meaningful in the context of current code.
