What you say you want is impossible: If you have a PDF which already is
signed multiple times (and as you do not say anything else I assume by means
of digital signatures according to section 12.8 of ISO 32000-1 or derivates
thereof) and then encrypt that PDF according to section 7.6, you
automatically break those former signatures.

Thus, what you proclaim you can do with Adobe Reader is something else. As
you don't seem to know what you created in Adobe Reader, please provide a
sample PDF processed as you proclaim for inspection.
