Hi.

What's the message in the signature panel of Acrobat when the signature
appears with a red cross?
Usually there is one.

Subject: [iText-questions] Problem with E-signature and iText

Dear all,

I have a big problem and I can't solve it.

I'm using iText to sign pdf in a project. I get the information (user
certificate, reason, location...etc) from a Java Applet (user enters all
this information). All is working fine and the signature is placed in the
PDF (in a specific signature field I create for each user as it is a
multiple signature approval flow). But the result is not as expected:

 - By using Adobe Acrobat Pro: The signature appears with a red Cross (seems
that is invalid) but when opening the signature properties, it says that
signature is Trusted and so on (all appears with green ticks). Why do I get
this red cross if the signature is trusted and seems to valid?
- By using Adobe Reader: Signature appears directly with green tick.

What can be happening???

Please I need your help.

I'm using iText 5.2.1
