Yes you might be right that Hindi fonts are not supported in the Reports. But What I am using is Arial Unicode. I found the issue. The issue is with the encoding scheme in the tomcat,it is not UTF-8, hence the file has this issue. Now <http://itext-general.2136553.n4.nabble.com/file/n4659511/resolved.png> it is coming fine.
Though this is not actual hindi, I want see if we can embed the actual mangal font using Itext.
