A mí me funciona ok. Googleando he visto que alguien tuvo un problema parecido al tuyo, por cierto sin respuesta, que tiene que ver con ndiswrapper y wlan. Si te conectas por ethernet, en caso de que tengas otra tarjeta wireless, se me ocurre que pruebes a deshabilitar ésta.
