Definitely as a computer with a link to the host computer. Virtual machine has
all the properties, physical computer has.

Subject: [itsm] Virtual Machines (guests) in CMDB

All;

How do you generally represent virtual machines in your CMDB; as computers with
a link / dependency on the host, or as software?

Thank you,
