I am having an issue with scrolling to the last line of multiline text when
FORMATTING=YES. I am using version 3.9, Windows, MinGW.
The scrolling behavior is different when appending text to a multiline text
box with formatting on/off. When FORMATTING=NO, it will automatically
scroll to the last line as text is appended.
But when FORMATTING=YES, automatic scrolling does not occur. I can
overcome this by adding code to scroll to the last line, but the text box
exhibits an odd behavior of showing the last line at the top of the text
box and empty space below. Adjusting the scroll bar immediately fixes the
empty space.
Is it possible to scroll to the last line with FORMATTING=YES and not
encounter this empty-space behavior?
I have pasted some C code to demonstrate this behavior. Uncomment the one
line to enable the formatting attribute.
