Yes, it seems that it is statically linking with Lua. Check the "lua5.1.a"
file you are using. It should be about 76Kb, if it is around 206Kb then you
are using the static version and not the import library version.

Ok. Then if "imlua51.dll" is linking with no error, it means it should be
linking with a static version of Lua.
In Dependency Walker, which are the external dependencies of the
"imlua51.dll" file?
