Yes I tried glcanvas.wlua and get the error
I only know that there are two X11 modes in mac osx : plain X11 and XQuartz, in
10.9 I only find XQuartz
Did you set "-framework OpenGL" in the iup 3.10 for mac osx I am using?

Yes it did. But I tested it a long time ago. I don't have a Mac around
anymore. I can't recall if there is something special. If it did I would have
written in the documentation.

Have you tried one of the IUP sample code that uses IupGLCanvas?

Humm, I just noticed in the iupglcanvas makefile that you have to define
"-framework OpenGL" on the CFLAGS.

yes, I already can run simple iup scripts.
But I am most interested in GLCanvas: Can it be used from mac osx 10.9?

Try running a simple IUP application first.

        No, X11 was not running.

So, as I am in mac osx 10.9 I run
/Applications/Utilities/XQuartz(.app), open a terminal and execute lua scripts
from there.
Now there is not IupOpen error but trying to use glcanvas gives an
error.
I dont know if from 10.9 I can use the old X11 on mac in order to get
it working?

          Is X11 running?

            Hello,

Working on mac osx 10.9: I downloaded iup for mac osx 3.10 ,
installed gtk+2
with fink (as stated in iup docs) .
require"iuplua" returns an error : IupOpen: could not initialize.
            Any idea to continue investigating?

            Thanks
