Using a filter for the col parameter with IUP_IGNORE in CLICK_CB, VALUE_EDIT_CB, and ACTION_CB does absolutely nothing to prevent the matrix from going into the edit mode when double-clicking on a cell. The only thing that works is to intercept the double-click (which only CLICK_CB can do after ACTION_CB is called), disable the matrix so that nothing works, and then re-enabling the matrix in VALUE_EDIT_CB (which is the last function to be called for a click or double-click). I don't think you ever tried doing what you suggest.
