Hello Derek, Looking over the below conflicts you will notice this is for php53 not php53u (php53 is provided by Redhat where as php53u is IUS), unfortunately as this is a rpmforge package conflicting with a Redhat package there will be nothing IUS will be able to assist with.
I would suggest contacting the maintainer of nagios from RPMForge.
