Greetings,
PHP has long ended support for PHP 5.2. IUS has kept the base packages
within the stable repositories and have been updating its modules. In
two weeks, we will be moving all php52 packages into the archive
repositories and will no longer be updating its modules.
If you are still running php52, please review PHP guide for migrating
from PHP 5.2.X:

While not recommended, you can install packages from the archive
repositories with something like the following:
# yum install PACKAGE_NAME --enablerepo=ius-archive
