Greetings,
IUS will be following RedHat's lead when it comes to the life cycle of
EL5[0]. Currently, EL5 is in the Production 3 Phase (what I call
maintenance only). IUS will follow suit and not consider any new
packages EL5. Will will continue to update packages and fix bugs.
